CriticalPoint may collect information that is de-identified so that personal information is anonymized. CriticalPoint’s use and disclosure of such de-identified information that is anonymized of personal information is not subject to any restrictions under this Privacy Policy, and CriticalPoint may disclose it to others without restriction for any purpose.

 

V. CriticalPoint’s Use of Information.

CriticalPoint may use your information for our business purposes, including but not limited to the following:

  • For the performance of CriticalPoint’s agreements with you. For example, fulfilling CriticalPoint’s merger and acquisition transactions and providing investment advisory and related services.

Where CriticalPoint has collected and processed your personal information with your consent, you may withdraw your consent as provided for within this Privacy Policy and to the extent permitted by law.  Withdrawing your consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing that CriticalPoint conducted prior to your withdrawal, nor will it affect processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

For example, if you in good faith believe that personal information CriticalPoint processes about you is incorrect or unlawful.  
  • Right to Object or Opt-Out.  You may have the right to object to and/or opt-out of the processing of personal information relevant to your request under certain circumstances or as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Data Retention. When CriticalPoint has no legitimate business need to retain your information, we will either delete it consistent with CriticalPoint’s data retention and deletion policy or take reasonable steps to de-identify or anonymize it in accordance with applicable law.

 

Security. CriticalPoint employs industry standard technical and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information that is under CriticalPoint’s control and that CriticalPoint processes on your behalf from unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, or disposal, both during transmission and once CriticalPoint receives it.  Despite the foregoing, CriticalPoint cannot guaranty the security of information and information you provide is at your own risk.

 

Third Party Websites. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information that you have provided or made accessible to third parties.  Disclosure of information to these third parties is subject to the relevant third party’s privacy policy. CriticalPoint is not responsible for the third party’s use of your information.

 

Children’s Personal Information.  CriticalPoint’s website is directed to adults and is not intended for children i.e. individuals under 18 years of age. CriticalPoint does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under the age of 13 or equivalent minimum age in the applicable jurisdiction. No one under age 13 may provide any personal information to CriticalPoint on its website. If CriticalPoint learns we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 on its website, CriticalPoint will take reasonable steps to delete that information as soon as practicable.
