We are pleased to announce that Erin Spaulding has joined CriticalPoint where she will be focused on building and leading the firm’s Valuation practice. She will be advising clients on a range of valuation issues, including transaction advisory (fairness opinions, purchase price allocations, shareholder exits, stock-based compensation), tax compliance (transfer pricing, gift & estate planning, minority interests, ESOPs) and consulting (IP and collateral, solvency opinions, third-party report review, buy-sell agreements, restructuring, FP&A). She brings over 20 years of experience in valuation and transaction services across a broad range of industries, including consumer goods & services, media & entertainment, aerospace & defense, fintech, biotech, early-stage tech, among other emerging and highly regulated sectors
Prior to joining CriticalPoint, Ms. Spaulding founded Spaulding Financial LLC, which provides valuation and advisory services for a diverse client base. Before that, she was a Valuation Director at SingerLewak LLP, where she specialized in financial reporting valuations and tax valuations. She also held various key roles, including Financial Planning and Analysis at Optimist Inc., Senior Associate in Valuation and Transaction Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Associate with American Appraisal (a Kroll acquired company), contributing significantly to financial due diligence, financial modeling, and compliance-focused analyses. She started her career as a Valuations Analyst with GurseySchneider LLP, handling high-profile asset divisions and estate planning matters.
Ms. Spaulding holds a B.S. in Applied International Finance from the American University of Paris and is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Certified Merger and Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA).
