Doug Gonsalves
Managing Director, Technology Investment Banking
Mr. Gonsalves is responsible for identifying, structuring, and financing mergers and acquisitions and capital formation transactions for public and private technology companies. During an investment banking career that spans over 25 years, he has accumulated extensive experience providing strategic and financial advisory services to entrepreneurs, board members, and financial sponsors active in the enterprise software and digital media sectors. Doug has advised on numerous domestic and cross-border transactions involving major technology consolidators as well as leading technology-focused private equity firms.
Prior to joining CriticalPoint, Mr. Gonsalves was a Managing Director and Head of Technology M&A at Truist Securities. Additionally, Doug served as a member of the leadership team at ThinkEquity, where he was Head of Investment Banking and M&A. He also led the software and digital media M&A practice at SVB Alliant (the investment banking affiliate of Silicon Valley Bank). Doug’s prior experience included roles at Merrill Lynch & Co. as a senior technology banker and head of the firm’s Middle Market Technology M&A practice. Doug began his career in the M&A groups at Robertson Stephens and Banc of America Securities. Doug is based in San Francisco.
Paulette Soetanto
Director, Technology Investment Banking
Mrs. Soetanto is responsible for originating and executing mergers and acquisitions and capital formation transactions in the technology sector at CriticalPoint. Paulette brings over 12 years of experience in investment banking to the firm, having advised both large-cap and mid-market companies on domestic and cross-border M&A, capital raise, public equity, and debt financing across a variety of industries.
Paulette started her career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs, before moving to Macquarie Capital’s Software & Services Investment Banking team. Paulette is based in San Francisco.
