Hitesh brings more than 18 years of experience, including 12 years at EY, where he led complex valuations for financial reporting in the areas of goodwill impairments, purchase price allocations, stock-based compensation, and portfolio valuations under both US GAAP and IFRS. Hitesh has supported multi-billion-dollar transactions across industries, including technology, digital infrastructure, aerospace, healthcare, and logistics, and has significant experience working with middle-market companies, entrepreneurs, and business owners on valuations, capital budgeting, and strategic initiatives.
Hitesh brings unique perspectives and in-depth knowledge that allows CriticalPoint to support a wide range of clients through all stages of growth, from early-stage startups to IPO preparation and post-IPO valuations for publicly traded companies. Along with valuations for financial reporting, Hitesh has deep expertise in strategic valuations, tax valuations, estate and gift tax valuations, ESOP valuations, fairness opinions, and corporate finance advisory.

Prior to joining EY, Hitesh advised the CFO at Rio Tinto on valuations, corporate finance, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital budgeting. Previously, Hitesh was a technology consultant in London, UK and India.
Hitesh earned an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation (ASA – BV).
