Hitesh is responsible for providing valuation advisory services for mergers and acquisitions, financial and tax reporting, and corporate finance initiatives. He brings more than 18 years of experience in strategic and transaction-related valuations, with expertise in goodwill and intangible asset analyses, purchase price allocations, stock-based compensation valuations, portfolio valuations, tax valuations, estate and gift tax valuations, ESOP valuations, and fairness opinions. Hitesh has supported multi-billion-dollar transactions across industries, including retail and consumer products, technology, digital infrastructure, aerospace, healthcare, and logistics. He has significant experience advising middle-market companies, entrepreneurs, and business owners on valuations, capital budgeting, acquisitions, divestitures, and broader strategic initiatives.
Prior to joining CriticalPoint, Hitesh spent 12 years at EY, where he led complex valuation engagements for financial reporting and transaction purposes. Earlier in his career, he advised the CFO at Rio Tinto on valuations, corporate finance, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital budgeting. He also worked as a technology consultant in London and India.
Hitesh received an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser in Business Valuation (ASA – BV).
