Matt focuses on financial sponsor coverage and the origination and execution of debt capital markets mandates. He brings more than 20 years of capital markets and investing experience, spanning buy-side and sell-side M&A, credit investing, and debt structuring.
Prior to joining CriticalPoint, Matt was a middle market and sponsor finance lender at various commercial banks, including Wells Fargo, Western Alliance, Banc of California, and Bank of America. Prior to his career in commercial banking, Matt was an investment banker with DA Davidson.
Matt graduated summa cum laude from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and is a CFA® charterholder. He is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth Los Angeles and the CFA Society Los Angeles and is actively involved with several nonprofit organizations. Matt currently serves on the board of The Center in Hollywood. He is a Registered Representative of CriticalPoint Partners, LLC, and holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 79 registrations.
