K.C. is the Head of Private Credit for CriticalPoint and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the firm’s direct lending business. Having spent 26 years in credit, both as a banker and as an advisor, he brings a wealth of experience in credit underwriting and capital markets, and a unique perspective in serving clients and developing creative solutions.
Prior to joining CriticalPoint, K.C. was a Principal and the Global Head of the Capital Markets Advisory practice at Ernst & Young, LLP. He helped found the practice in the U.S., and completed over $85 billion in advisory assignments over his 13 years at EY. Prior to EY he spent 13 years in leveraged finance with Bank of America and Wells Fargo, working on private equity backed LBOs, corporate acquisition financings and restructurings. As a banker, he completed nearly $60 billion in leveraged financings in a lead role.
K.C. is a graduate of Southern Methodist University where he double majored in Economics and German. He earned his MBA from Cornell University with a concentration in finance. He is a Registered Representative of CriticalPoint Partners, LLC and holds the FINRA Series 7, 24 & 63 licenses.
