Bob is responsible for sourcing, executing, and financing strategic transactions in the food, agriculture, and restaurant sectors. He brings over 30 years of investment banking experience and has executed a wide variety of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and public and private financings. Bob offers middle market clients a unique combination of larger firm sophistication and boutique-style service and responsiveness.
Prior to joining CriticalPoint, Bob held similar positions focused on the food, agriculture and restaurant industries at B. Riley Securities, FocalPoint Partners, and Trinity Capital. Previously, he was a senior investment banker at the bulge bracket firms Salomon Brothers, Merrill Lynch, and J.P. Morgan, where he was head of the Southwest region. Bob also worked at Wasserstein Perella and Relational Advisors.
Bob graduated with honors in Economics from Harvard University where he was an All-Ivy linebacker on the football team and was awarded the Francis H. Burr Scholarship, signifying the school’s top scholar-athlete. He received an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar (top 10% of the class). He is a Registered Representative of CriticalPoint Partners, LLC and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 79 licenses.
Bob has served on a number of corporate boards and has been involved with several non-profit organizations including The Alliance for Children’s Rights, where he has been the chair of the finance committee for several years.
